Bob Dylan's first TV appearance in 1963, roughly 2 months before his 22nd birthday. He appeared on WBC-TV, New York. The show was taped in March 1963 but didn't air until May of that year. History of this traditional American folk song. It was first recorded by Dick Burnett, a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky.
